1. The company is primarily engaged in a single segment viz. Financial Services and related activities , therefore the separate disclosures required under Accounting Standard (AS-17) on Segment Reporting issued by ICAI are not applicable.

2. Operating Leases: The Company has obtained office premises under operating lease. These leases are for a period ranging from 11 to 22 months and are renewable as may be mutually decided. These are generally cancellable lease. Lease payments recognized in the Statement of Profit and Loss as ’Rent’ under Note No. 23 is Rs. 3,219,500/- (P.Y. Rs. 3,202,138/-). 5. Provision for taxation has been made during the year under "Minimum Alternate Tax" (MAT) as per the provisions of the Indian Income Tax Act, 1961, which can be set off in the subsequent year based on the provisions of Section 115 JB.
